I got my book yesterday evening! I stayed up so late reading; Garr is pretty dang cool.

- Who are you?
- I'm Julienne, a serious bookworm, and when I don't have something to read, I force my parents to get my butt over to Barnes and Nobles. I can read throughout the day; seriously (I'm doing that with Inkheart right now) and I'm not the kind of person to put a good book down for dinner. Back when my parents allowed me, I read while I walked to school, in the bathtub, at the dinner table. I CANT STAND wimpy written books like the ones based off of High School Musical. *shudders* I'm a fantasy/sci-fi kinda person. My favorite series are the Inheritance series (Eragon), Harry Potter, Artemis Fowl, Percy Jackson, Maximum Ride, and THE HUNGER GAMES (eee!) Oh, and I'm an artist
- What do you like about The Atavists Trilogy?
- I've only read three chapters, yet it is promising of twists and turns, elaborate plots, and a downright good story. Like the Inheritance Series, I love how the story seems to envelop the reader as it develops. The way emotions are described; it's not easy to describe emotion. You can't say "oh she was sad" or "she was angry." But this book captures it just right. The reader easily relates to Zanni, but shares in her sentimental moments, something I highly appreciate. One scene in the book, I never forgot. Where she catches a perfect leaf amidst the atrocities of life. Something stood out to me then. One scene out of many more to come.
- Why would you like to see this series get published?
- Talent is not something to be hidden in a box and taken to Public Storage. This deserves to GET OUT THERE. I'm sure when others read the story, they'll get pulled in just like I did.

"OH MY GOSH. NO KIDDING. I was watching that show (finished the third episode two minutes ago) , and the whole time I was thinking she was Zanni! NO JOKE HERE. Dead serious.

Kat Mellon said… - You're not the only one! I used to totally geek out when I got a B&N or Borders gift card. I haven't gotten one in years, but that's because bookstores have too much overpriced merchandise these days.
