I am currently reading it! I havn't gotten very far because ahem, Amber's not great at sharing... ANYWHO, so far I think that it is absolutely amazing. You creat such a vivid picture. Your writing reminds me of the Mortal Instruments series because of all the fantastic descriptions. I wasn't exactly sure what to expect from it at first, but I was definitely blown out of the water when I started reading it. And once I finish it, I'll let you know about my favorite character and quote! :D

Oh, and I love it so far as well, especially Garr, I just want to hug him. He's a tortured soul who needs a hug! And a cheeseburger. ;)

DeathX is a little snob! I was reading what he was saying and half the time I was like, "Oh no you didn't!" Haha ;p He's definitely not my favorite.

I think I like Garr the most, but I'm not sure because he has his moments...

Maybe I like Zanni the most... >.< I need time to think this over... :D

This is what I think:

 

DeathX will keep trying to win over Zanni, but for the most part she is too annoyed by his personality.  They might have a little fling and get together for a while, but she still won’t think her destiny is with him.  Zanni and Garr might get together, but DeathX will start harassing him because she is supposed to be his.

 

I think that Zanni will tell Toby everything that is happening because she needs someone to talk with other than Garr.  They might kiss and cause Zanni to get very confused with who she should be with.  I think there is something up with Sean.  He hasn’t gone to school, so something must be happening to him.  Maybe his parents did die or something and he is considering suicide.

 

Zanni will keep using the Divine Dimension to get away from her problems.  But she learns that she can’t always escape her problems and has to face Second Heartbeat.  I’m not sure what is going to happen there, but I think that Helena and Zanni might have a long conversation together.

 

Those are my theories for the most part. :D

 

I really liked the dialogue between Toby, Garr, and Zanni in Chapter 4; it was executed really well.  I found it hilarious for some reason when Zanni made Garr sleep in the closet… I also loved it when she gave him the boxers. Haha :) I liked page 113 a lot when she was getting her wings.  I thought it was romantic, although she wasn’t conscious. Haha :)

 

I could barely stand to read the basketball game.  I didn’t want her to get embarrassed and I had to take a break in the middle of it because it was hard to ‘watch’ her go through that.  I thought it was going to get ten times worse.  I couldn’t believe she broke his arm!  My face was like :o

 

The dialogue through the rest of that chapter was really interesting and I loved it.  It was one of my favorite parts.  It made me laugh a few times.

 

I didn’t like that she had to leave her parents and I thought it was a little weird that they were okay with it, but she would leave in a year for college anyway, so I guess it makes sense.

 

The last chapter was really interesting.  First of all, I hate DeathX.  He is a pompous snob and really annoying.  I wanted someone to just punch his face in.  I felt bad for Zanni to be destined to be with him and I also felt bad that she had to be with so many guys.  She must have been dying.  I loved the comedy between Todd and Benvolio; it gave some relief from the harsh situation.  I had a ‘lol’ moment when I found out his name was Benvolio, since I just read Shakespeare. :D

 

I couldn’t believe they had to drink the blood.  While reading that, I shuttered a little.  That is just nasty.  Yuck.  My face was probably something like this O_X

 

I loved all of the similes used and it was written very well.  I did find a few errors, but they were very minor.  I just wish the book was longer!

 

The plot is amazing and I loved everything about it.  I can’t wait for Book 2!!!

 

And I determined that my favorite character is Garr and I really hope that Zanni and him get together! :)
